What is time and attendance software?
Time and attendance software collects punches, compares them with schedules and works out hours worked, lateness, absences and overtime. The time and attendance module of the TEMPO HRIS does this for companies in Morocco, with ZKTeco and Hikvision time clocks and a mobile app, then passes these figures to payroll by period.
Which time clocks work with TEMPO?
ZKTeco time clocks, connected through the SDK protocol, and Hikvision terminals, which send their events to the cloud. The models actually tested are the ZKTeco MA300 and the Hikvision DS-K1T343MFWX; other models from these brands are compatible by protocol. Employees without a time clock clock in from their phone.
Does the software prepare payroll?
Yes. For each period, the activity statement gives each employee’s days worked, normal hours, hours at 25, 50 and 100% premiums, leave and absences. TEMPO also handles salary advances and distributes payslips to employees in their portal.
Can TEMPO be used across several sites and companies?
Yes. One workspace handles several companies, sites and departments. Each manager sees only their scope, time and attendance policies can differ by site or department, and reports filter by site, department or company. Each site also keeps its own time clocks and time zone.
Do employees have an app?
Yes, a web app installable on Android and iPhone. Employees sign in with their phone number or an activation QR code, clock in with their GPS location and a selfie if the site requires it, view their schedule, punches, balances and payslips, and submit their requests.
