Questions fréquentes

Are the TEMPO guides free?

Yes. The guides and the overtime calculator are freely available, with no sign-up. They explain the rules of the Moroccan Labour Code and their official sources, then how TEMPO applies them. They do not replace the advice of a lawyer or chartered accountant for a specific case.

Where do the legal figures in the guides come from?

From the Labour Code (loi n° 65-99, consolidated version from the Ministry of Justice), decrees published in the Bulletin officiel, such as the minimum wage decree, and the DGI’s General Tax Code. Each guide lists its sources at the bottom of the page, with a link to the official text, and gives the date of its last update.

Are the rules in the guides the software’s rules?

Yes, as default values. The overtime rates, the 44-hour threshold, leave entitlements and the public holiday calendar described in the guides are those TEMPO offers when your workspace is created. You can adapt them to your collective agreement or internal rules, and each change is recorded in the activity log.

Are the dates of religious holidays final?

No. The dates of Eid al-Fitr, Eid al-Adha, 1 Muharram, Eid al-Mawlid and Ramadan depend on sighting the crescent moon. The guides give estimated dates, confirmed later by the Ministry of Habous and Islamic Affairs. In TEMPO, these days stay “to be confirmed” until the official announcement.
