Why track equipment issued to employees?
Because equipment mostly goes missing when employees leave: a tablet, a charger, a uniform never returned. Without a signed receipt or an up-to-date list, there is no way to tell what was issued.
TEMPO links arrival and departure to the employee record: the right kit at hiring, everything recovered on departure.
What does the Equipment module do?
Tracking by unit or quantity
One record per computer, a stock for gloves or uniforms.
Kits by job title
The job title’s kit is suggested at each issue.
Receipt and return report
Issue receipt and return report to print and have signed.
Return on departure
On departure, TEMPO flags the equipment still held.
Age report

How does equipment issue work, from arrival to departure?
- 1
Issue
From the employee record, their job title’s kit is already listed.
- 2
Have the receipt signed
Print it and attach the signed scan.
- 3
Return
Tick what comes back and its condition, then print the report.
- 4
Deduct if needed
A lost item can be deducted from pay, at its residual value.
How do you stop an employee leaving with equipment?
By linking the return to the departure. Depending on your setting, TEMPO flags equipment still held or blocks the departure until everything is returned.
The deduction decided lands in the activity statement, ready for payroll preparation.
How is an item’s residual value calculated?
On a straight line over the type’s service life: a laptop bought for 9,000 DH, with a 36-month service life, is worth 4,500 DH after 18 months. The age report flags what will soon need renewing, to prepare the budget.

How do you manage equipment issued to employees?
In TEMPO, each job title has a kit (for example a phone, a uniform and safety shoes for a technician). At issue, the kit is suggested, you pick the items in stock and print a receipt to be signed, then attach its scan. The employee record then lists what they hold.
What is an equipment receipt?
It is the document the employee signs when receiving company equipment: it lists the items, serial numbers and quantities, and the employee acknowledges receiving them in good condition and undertakes to return them. TEMPO prints it at each issue, and a return report when items come back.
How do you recover equipment when an employee leaves?
When the departure is recorded, TEMPO flags equipment still held or blocks the departure until it is returned or declared lost, depending on your setting. The return records each item’s condition; a lost or damaged item can lead to a deduction carried into the month’s activity statement.
Can you track stock items such as gloves or uniforms?
Yes. An item tracked by quantity has no per-unit record: TEMPO keeps its stock with receipts, issues, returns and write-offs. An issue that exceeds available stock is rejected, showing the number of items left.
