Time and attendance software for stores and retail chains in Morocco

TEMPO is an HRIS for companies in Morocco; in stores and distribution networks, its time and attendance and scheduling module builds each store’s schedules from its opening hours and minimum staffing, applies Ramadan hours, tracks the weekly rest day and gives each manager the attendance of their stores.

What makes time and attendance hard in a store?

  • Hours follow opening times, with openers, closers and extra staff that change every week.
  • Ramadan shifts everything for a month.
  • Stores are far from head office, and absences are discovered too late.

TEMPO handles these three constraints in a single tool, with a time clock per store or mobile clocking in.

How do you build a store schedule based on its opening hours?

TEMPO’s schedule generator proposes a site’s weeks in one click, from the opening hours, the minimum staffing and each employee’s weekly hours. The manager adjusts, then saves.

Alerts flag understaffing, missing breaks, rest periods that are too short or gaps with the contract, and the summary counts each person’s openings, closings and Sundays off. See also staff scheduling.

How do you manage Ramadan hours across a store chain?

With a Ramadan schedule prepared in advance and assigned to the whole company, a site, a department or an employee: a shopping mall store can have its own. Once the period is confirmed, TEMPO writes the Ramadan days into the schedules, for the manager to publish.

The guide working hours during Ramadan details the process.

What does each store or regional manager see?

Each user sees only the employees within their scope: their store, their region or the whole network.

  • Today’s attendance

Today’s punches, late arrivals and missing punches, to deal with before opening.

  • Daily attendance report

Every morning, the previous day’s attendance by email, for their scope only.

  • Anomalies to justify

Missing clock-outs, late arrivals and early departures, filterable by site.

  • Tracking per site

Hours worked and cost per store over a period.

How are weekly rest days and public holidays tracked?

The weekly rest day is the one in each employee’s schedule. Work on that day counts as overtime at rest-day rates (article 201 of the Labour Code), and the schedule flags a week over 44 hours (article 184).

Public holidays are loaded for all sites or only some. See public holidays in Morocco.

Do you need a time clock in every store?

It is the simplest option for a store with a staff entrance: a face recognition time clock or a fingerprint one near the stockroom, with enrollment done from TEMPO (comparison). For a small outlet or kiosk, clocking in by phone within a perimeter around the store is enough.

Questions fréquentes

Which time and attendance software for a store chain in Morocco?

TEMPO is an HRIS designed for multi-site networks. Its time and attendance module puts a time clock or the phone in every store, generates schedules from opening hours and minimum staffing, assigns Ramadan hours per site and sends the daily attendance to each manager. Hours then flow into the payroll activity statement.

How do you schedule a store open 7 days a week?

TEMPO’s schedule generator starts from each day’s opening hours, the minimum staff present and each employee’s weekly hours. It proposes working days and rest days, flags understaffing, missing breaks and rest periods that are too short, then counts each person’s openings, closings and Sundays off.

How do you apply Ramadan hours in every store?

You create a Ramadan cycle and assign it to the company, a site, a department or an employee. Once the period is confirmed, TEMPO writes the Ramadan days into the schedules, for the manager to publish. Days placed by hand are kept.

Is Sunday work paid as overtime?

What counts is not Sunday, but the weekly rest day set in the employee’s schedule. Work on that day counts as overtime, by default at 50% by day and 100% at night under article 201, unless your policy treats it as compensatory rest.
