How does GPS clocking with a perimeter work?
Each site has a position and a radius. The phone’s position is recorded with the punch and visible on a map. A punch outside the perimeter is kept and flagged to the manager, who decides: a delivery to a customer is not fraud. You can also make the position mandatory.
What is the selfie at clock-in for?

Yes. Without network, the punch is kept on the phone with its actual time and sent automatically as soon as the network returns. The manager sees that it arrived late.

Is there a staff time and attendance app in Morocco?
TEMPO, the HRIS for companies in Morocco, offers a time and attendance app: it installs from the browser on Android and iPhone. Employees clock in with their GPS position, checked against their site’s perimeter, and a selfie if the site requires it. They also see their schedule, punches, balances and payslips there.
How does GPS clocking work?
The phone sends its position with the punch, and TEMPO compares it with the site perimeter, defined by a position and a radius. Outside the perimeter, the punch is kept and flagged to the manager as an “Out-of-zone punch” anomaly. You can also make the position mandatory to clock in.
Does the app work without internet?
Yes. Without network, the punch is kept on the phone with its actual time and sent automatically when the network returns. It is marked “Clocked offline” in reports, so the manager knows it arrived late. The employee has nothing to redo.
Does the employee need an email address?
No. They can sign in with their phone number and a password. HR creates their access from their record and gives them an activation QR code or a temporary password; the employee then chooses their own password and can clock in right away.
