What are night hours in Morocco?
For overtime, night runs from 9 pm to 6 am. This is the window article 201 of the Labour Code uses for non-agricultural activities: an overtime hour worked between 9 pm and 6 am carries a higher premium than the same hour worked during the day.
Night work by minors and women follows specific rules: check them with your adviser or the labor inspectorate.
Which day does a shift past midnight belong to?
In TEMPO, a shift belongs entirely to the day it starts. A shift from 10 pm Monday to 6 am Tuesday is Monday’s working day: both punches attach to it, and Tuesday stays free for the next shift. No more nights split into two incomplete days, and no employee marked absent the next day.

What happens when the clocks change?
TEMPO counts the minutes that actually elapsed, not the gap between two displayed times. A night from 10 pm to 6 am that loses an hour at the clock change counts 7 hours, not 8: the employee is paid for the time actually worked.
