Why is time and attendance hard in a clinic?
Because care never stops: nights from 7 pm to 7 am, 24-hour on-call shifts, 12-hour day teams, administrative staff on office hours, weekends and public holidays worked.
Software that sorts punches by calendar date splits each night into two incomplete days, and HR recounts everything by hand for payroll.
How does TEMPO count a 12-hour night or a 24-hour on-call shift?
Each shift belongs to the day it starts, even if it ends the next day: a 7 pm – 7 am night or an 8 am – 8 am on-call shift is a single working day.
Example: a nurse scheduled from 7 pm to 7 am clocks in at 6:52 pm and out at 7:04 am. TEMPO counts 12 h 12 min worked: 12 regular hours and 12 minutes of overtime.
How do you organize a service open 24 hours a day?
With work cycles of 1 to 56 days (Day, Day, Night, Night, Rest…): each team member starts on the day assigned to them, and TEMPO fills the schedules for several weeks.
The manager then adjusts the grid (replacement, swap, extra staff). The schedule flags weeks over 44 hours (article 184) and rest periods that are too short, and everyone sees their own on their phone.
What does TEMPO calculate for nursing staff payroll?
Night overtime
Between 9 pm and 6 am, paid by default at a 50% premium on a working day and 100% on a rest day or public holiday (article 201).
Public holidays
A public holiday worked follows public holiday rates.
Payment or time off in lieu
Overtime paid or converted into time off in lieu when the period is closed.
Your agreement’s rules
Overtime bands more favourable than the law.
Activity statement
Hours, leave, absences and public holidays per employee, exportable to payroll.
How do you track staff medical check-ups and training?
The Occupational health module records check-ups, fitness for work and restrictions, and flags employees under enhanced monitoring. The Training module tracks sessions and attendance.
This information is restricted to authorized roles: see data security.
Which time clock for a healthcare facility?
A face recognition time clock avoids all contact and recognizes staff in uniform. Place it at the staff entrance or near the changing rooms.
A group of clinics or laboratories manages each site with its own time clocks and managers: see multi-site time and attendance.

How do night nurses clock in?
In TEMPO, a 7 pm – 7 am night is a single shift, linked to the day it starts. Punches are matched around the scheduled shift: clocking in at 6:52 pm and out at 7:04 am gives 12 h 12 min worked, including 12 regular hours and 12 minutes of overtime, with no missing clock-out anomaly.
Which scheduling software for a clinic in Morocco?
TEMPO schedules round-the-clock service with work cycles of 1 to 56 days (12-hour days, nights, 24-hour on-call shifts, rest days), then the manager adjusts the grid. The schedule flags weeks that are too long and rest periods that are too short, and each employee views their published schedule on their phone.
Are on-call shifts on a public holiday paid at a premium?
Yes. By default, TEMPO counts all hours worked on a public holiday as overtime, at a 50% premium by day and 100% between 9 pm and 6 am, under article 201 of the Labour Code. A public holiday not worked is credited with its scheduled duration. Your agreement can provide better terms, through band-based rules.
Does TEMPO manage staff medical check-ups?
Yes, with the Occupational health module: planned and completed check-ups, doctor or service, fitness for work, restrictions, attached fitness certificate and employees under enhanced monitoring. Access depends on roles, and every change is recorded in the activity log.
