The ProFace X is a face terminal built for outdoors: IP68 waterproof housing, -30 to 60 °C range, recognition up to 50,000 lux, so in full sun. It suits the entrance of a factory, a port or a car park, and large workforces: 30,000 faces as standard.

Is the ProFace X suited to an indoor site?
Yes, but it is oversized for tracking office hours: the SpeedFace-V5L is enough in that case. The ProFace X makes sense for an outdoor entrance or several thousand people.
