The K40 is an entry-level fingerprint time clock with a keypad, a small color screen and a built-in battery. It suits an office, a branch or a store of a few dozen people, and keeps recording during a power cut.
Mount it indoors, at hand height, out of direct sunlight and dust. To clock in and control a door with Wiegand, look at the F18.

Questions fréquentes
Does the K40 work without the manufacturer’s software?
Yes. TEMPO reads the K40’s punches from its servers and sends it employees and their cards, with no software installed on a computer at the site.
Does the K40 keep punches during a power cut?
It has a built-in backup battery and keeps up to 100,000 punches in memory. When the network comes back, TEMPO collects the punches recorded in the meantime, without duplicates.
Can employees clock in with a card on the K40?
Yes, with the optional ID or IC card reader. We can supply a model fitted with one. TEMPO then sends each employee’s card number to the terminal, along with their record.
